Tour Detour: Element 15 Films Joins the Ride on a High-Octane Travel Series

Element 15 Films is excited to be part of an ambitious and wildly entertaining new travel series, Tour Detour — a road-trip show with equal parts investigation, adventure, and chaos.

The series follows three Nissan dealership owners on a bold mission: to put the infamous CVT transmissions found in older Nissan models to the ultimate test. Are they really as unreliable as the reports suggest, or have they been unfairly judged? There’s only one way to find out — by driving them through some of the most dangerous and unforgiving environments across America.

From extreme terrain to unpredictable conditions, Tour Detour pushes both cars and drivers to their limits. Along the way, the hosts’ relentless banter, competitive spirit, and constant pranks keep the journey as hilarious as it is unpredictable. It’s a show that blends genuine automotive curiosity with laugh-out-loud moments and high-stakes travel storytelling.

Element 15 Films joined the project as part of the editing team. As the series has evolved, we’re now also working closely with Latitude 26 Media in a creative consultant role, collaborating to push season one forward — while also exploring exciting opportunities for future seasons.
